She was born on Friday, July 3, 1953 in Albemarle, NC to Joseph Hatley and the late Rachel Hatley.

Deborah graduated from the University of Georgia. She was a teacher, a homemaker, and a lover of children. She enjoyed spending time with her children and fishing with her husband. She attended McClellanville United Methodist Church. Her family remembers her as a loving and devoted wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Lindsay Holbrook of Charleston, SC; three daughters: Ashley Holbrook of Mt. Pleasant, SC; Ann Hammond and her husband, Scott, of Charleston, SC; and Jessica Thomas and her husband, Jason, of Nashville, TN; her father, Joseph Hatley, Sr., of Albemarle, NC; and one brother, Joseph Hatley, Jr., of Albemarle, NC.

She attended McClellanville United Methodist Church. Her family remembers her as a loving and devoted wife and mother.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Lindsay Holbrook of Charleston, SC; three daughters: Ashley Holbrook of Mt. Pleasant, SC; Ann Hammond and her husband, Scott, of Charleston, SC; and Jessica Thomas and her husband, Jason, of Nashville, TN; her father, Joseph Hatley, Sr., of Albemarle, NC; and one brother, Joseph Hatley, Jr., of Albemarle, NC.
