Mr. L.G. McDonald, 63, of Waleska, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Sunday, May 21, 2017 from the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Billy Edmondson officiating. Interment will follow in Briar Patch Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour. Mr. McDonald was the owner and operator of L.G. McDonald Auction Company. He attended Briar Patch Community Church and enjoyed collecting antiques. He is survived by his daughter, Misty (Joseph) Reinhardt; granddaughter, Macartney Reinhardt; former wife and friend, Gail McDonald; special friend, Darlene Mullins.
