As I recall, Jack's mom tried to wake him up for school one day, and couldn't wake him up. He had passed away during the night. I'm not sure if they ever found out the reason for his passing. He was a very nice guy and it was a shock to everyone who knew him, I'm sure.
From what I remember when we were told of Jack's passing, he had a heart problem and died in his sleep. He was always a very quiet person and very kind.
